Conference key note speakers include:

Professor Jeremy Coplan, Professor of Psychiatry, State University New York, Director of Neuropsychopharmacology, Brooklyn NY USA. Cognitive and psychiatric symptoms can predominate in neuroborreliosis. The need for clinicians to understand underlying infections in some psychiatric symptoms is very important. Professor Coplan is a Lyme literate psychiatrist with extensive experience in this area.

Associate Professor Diego Cadavid, Senior Director of Biogen Idec, Consultant in Immunology and Inflammatory Diseases, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA USA. Australian Lyme-like illness shares some symptoms with relapsing fever. Relapsing fever is the forgotten borreliosis that is endemic in Africa, Middle East, Asia, South America and the West Coast of USA. Professor Cadavid is a world expert in relapsing fever.

Dr Steven Harris, Pacific Frontier Medical Centre, San Francisco CA USA. Dr Harris is a prominent internist and an ILADS educator. He has in depth knowledge on clinical signs and symptoms and treatment of Lyme and other tick-borne infections.
